(77) September 2, 2018. My faith in Google has been compromised. Traveled to Harvey, IL to find out St. Susanna has been closed for many, many years.
My next Googled stop was to Our Lady of The Angels. Come to find out the location is St. Francis of Assisi.
My last Googled attempt was to find a Catholic Mass close by. Low and behold St. Genevieve’s doors were open and Mass was just beginning.
Reverend Gregory Rom gave a wonderful Homily on giving. In a poem he quoted, there are 3 types of giving. Grudgingly giving, ought to give and thankfully giving. The latter of the 3 is how Jesus gave His life for us. My heart is full of thanks to God for giving me so much to be grateful for. Even when Google steers me wrong, God’s directions are always right!
