Church of the Gesu

(136) October 20, 2019. Just under two hours travel time from home is “Church of The Gesu” in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The heart of Marquette University’s campus, with a little added bonus “St.Joan of Arc Chapel”. Both offering so much history, beauty, charm and warmth from fellow worshipers.

As my journey comes closer to ending, my question to God, what next? And as always, God answers me in ways that comes from within and through others. Today, Fr. Jim Flaherty’s homily gave me God’s call to continue sharing my love for The Church. If only the deceitful veil that shrouds the true glory of faith, religion, belief and trust be destroyed. With a grateful heart, my life has been saved from that deceit. And if my faith and trust in The Church is to share as His servant, than that’s the answer to the question. There is no other place to find all that my soul seeks than within the walls of The Church at Mass.
