September 12, 2021. The most important hour of my week is at Mass and this Sunday’s celebration was at St. Emeric. The first experience of this parish was meeting Jama Dowdy in the vestibule. Although, we never spoke or met before, it was good speaking with my sister in Christ, who showed me around her house of worship and mine too for a little while.

The good energy continued on as Mass began, the choir, lector, and cantor prepared us for worship and Fr. Casmir’s explanation of The Gospel was decisively clear, Jesus was misunderstood, He came as The Messiah of peace, not of war.

Even Peter almost got it wrong and yet Jesus made him a rock that The Church was built on.

So out of one hundred and sixty eight hours of the week, the one most important hour is at Mass. Because the hours of the past and the hours of the future matter not in the hour of celebrating Mass.
