December 25, 2021. Waking early this morning wasn’t about opening a gift under a decorated tree, rather traveling to St. George for the presence of Jesus at The Alter. The Gift of His love that will last far beyond the end of time and into eternity.
As Mass was unwrapping, Fr. Paul began by saying “Welcome, and let us greet each other this Christmas morning”, and Fr. Tom explained in his homily how over two thousand years ago people back then were just as busy with life issues as we are today. God sent The Christ Child to change all that and give us a chance at real peace in our lives. The privilege of Mass is where Jesus offers the gift of leading us out of life’s stresses and to a place of peace, this is Christmas.
