(50) February 25, 2018. Chose Nativity of Our Lord Church to worship at today. With a heavy heart wanted to pray for Erin and Grace Bauer at their home parish. Who lost their husband and father to violence last week. May Commander Paul Bauer’s soul be at peace and his good works be remembered. So that his legacy and love for the Church continue on with those he loved, helped and touched by his faith in God.

Fr. Joseph Altman gave a powerful homily on faith and commitment. It is not enough to just have faith. As Christians, our faith is always being tested. It takes commitment and mindfulness to grow closer to God.

After Mass, had the honor of meeting fellow travelers of Catholic Churches too, like Marco Mataya and his special needs son. Marco plays a French musette accordion and his son a friendly and most faithful lover of the Church and God.

I gave my sorrows to God and God gave me a peaceful heart in return.
