Ascension – St Susanna Parish

(78) September 9, 2018. Returned and determined to see Ascension ~ St. Susanna. With understanding now as to why God wanted me to experience this extraordinary Church. The fellowship here is all about loving one another as Jesus commands us to do. This faith community is unquestionably following Jesus with every fiber of their being.

Like 90 years young, Lewis Peace. Who told me about his long and loving history with this parish. Everyone here has a wonderful story to tell about their spiritual home. How the Church always took care of them in times of grief. And gave them purpose when all else failed. And for that they are the people who are standing strong for the Church in Her need.

Had the honor to meet Fr. Leonard Dubi. Who is a visiting Priest and totally reminded me of John Wayne. Spoke His mind and said it with love for the Church and all Her people.

At the ending of Mass had the honor to join the choir for the recessional hymn. It was heartwarming to sing with a choir again. We sang together as one Roman Catholic Family.
