February 2, 2020. Since dying to myself and being reborn to a life for Christ, God has given me so many wonderful gifts that could only come from Him.

Some weeks ago while traveling back from Mass on the Southside and taking the long way home this majestic Church caught my eye. Without doubt, God guided me to attend Mass here today at St. Tepeyac. Words cannot explain the happy in my heart when seeing people fill with the love of God and sharing that love with me. This was what happened here today.

The Mass gave all of us reasons to go out and serve our neighbors as The Body of Christ. But my bonus blessing was how Fr. Alejandro Marca Mansilla welcomed me to his parish and gave me a tour of this beautiful place. Since the beginning of this journey, my treasure box is filling with new reasons to love The Church, Catholicism and God.

Today, I met a pastor who makes all his own vestments, albs and stoles. Again, God has honored me with experiences that can only come though Him. The true vibrancy of the parish is a pastor who loves his flock and in years to come the youth will continue the work for the generations to follow here in this place of worship.
