(133) September 29, 2019. Beyond using the best words to describe my experience today, pictures do help. Traveling with my nieces, we attended Mass in Montreal. Although Mass was celebrated in French, it was a privilege to worship at “Notre-Dame Basilica”. The first neo-gothic Church in Canada. The past is magnificently preserved, so that we may barrow the beauty for awhile.

As a lover of Catholic Churches, my eyes saw unexplainable artistry throughout this Basilica. And thanks to those who lovingly care for Her, time stands still for us to see what “Notre-Dame” looked like when She was first was built.
No matter what language is being spoken, the Universal Mass is not foreign to follow. And during this homily, it was a contemplative prayer for me. A time to open my heart and mind for my soul to be fed from God directly. And my devotional prayer is for others to return to Mass. From my experiences, there’s no other place to receive God’s direct Gift.
