(109) April 14, 2019. Palm Sunday service began in St. Edmund’s Anglican Episcopal Church Hall. Palms were blessed between the two neighboring Churches then we processed to our respective house of worship.
Although “St. Anselm” (AKA Miracle on 61st St.) and the faith community was new to me, as always not for long. Felt right at home settling in to worshiping God and celebrating Mass here with my new extended faith family members.
Quoting Fr. O’Sullivan O. Carm “ Humanity can be cruel to Humanity”. Jesus the ultimate Humanitarian was crucified by humans who had it all wrong. Before Jesus’ Passion began the masses were welcoming Him as a Savior from their oppression. Little did they know after crucifying Him, Jesus freed us from oppression we place on ourselves. To be forgiven and be promised a better life eternally with Him. By believing this, life truly is amazing and meaningful.
