June 27,2021. The best part of waking up is Jesus in my cup. Although The Cup of The Blood of Christ is on hold for now, receiving The Word and The Body of Christ fills me with a love that only Jesus knows how to do.

Today, was Fr. James’ farewell Mass here at St. Constance and his heartfelt homily reflected a man in love with his vocation. Not yet knowing where God will lead him next, Fr. James undoubtedly will continue faithfully sharing his love for The Church and for Her people. Just as what we heard in today’s Gospel, “Do not be afraid; just have faith.” Our cups will be filled according to God’s Will on our paths through life everlasting. Fr. James Heyd’s parting words to the congregation, “Vivo Christo Rey”.
