August 22, 2021. The past is alive by the present custodians for the future generations to carry on and care for The Church and her people. What the past generations left are beautiful Churches like “St Edward” to love and appreciate the sacrifices that were made for us to have a place to worship, receive forgiveness and spiritual food for our journey through life.

Greeted with kindness and stories of the artwork throughout the Church gave me a sense of awe and appreciation to those who welcomed me in the Church they love so dearly. St Edward Church is a living story that began in the Old Testament, carries on in The New Testament, then in the lives of Saints that continue to present day. Though the numbers of believers who come to Mass have dwindled, my belief is that The Church will prevail, because She offers food for the soul in our journey through life. My soul would starve if not for the sacrifice that was made on The Cross and gave me a place to thank Him.
