September 26, 2021. Meeting Fr. Rich Yanos for the first time in the vestibule before Mass was to begin did my heart a world of good. My heart and soul needed The sacrament of reconciliation and Fr. Rich gladly heard my confession.

My Penance was to pray for peace and to forgive myself, because God has forgiven me.

It was but a moment that we were strangers and after reconciliation, Fr. Rich helped to heal my wounded soul. The Mass was beautiful and the best part was receiving The Body of Christ with a clear conscience of forgiveness.

Today’s quote from Fr. Rich’s homily, “There’s only one guarantee in life and it’s change”. For better or for worse holding onto God’s hand gets us through all that changes in life. Thank you, Fr. Rich for answering the call to Priesthood and being in the vestibule today, your flock is blessed to have you!
