October 31, 2021. In the Hebrew language there is a word, “Shema” which means “to hear” and in today’s Gospel we heard Jesus’ two commandments. Love God first and love your neighbor as yourself. Shema also means, to obey and take action. In doing so there is no greater romance then having an everlasting love with God. That kind of love gives strength that’s needed to love others too.

Although “St. Frances of Rome” is a little Church in Cicero, She is vibrant, beautifully renovated and Her pews fill up with a faithful community that resonates love for God and neighbor.
