Saint Mary Norwalk Connecticut

July 30, 2023. Generations ago, people came from far away by boat to what is now The United States for freedom to worship. My travel was 13 hours by car to experience the most extraordinary “Latin Mass”!
St. Mary’s pews were filled with lovers of the parish and traditional Latin Mass. Although, my experience in celebrating The Latin Mass is just a couple of times, this Mass opened my eyes to why generations ago people left their homeland to have the freedom to worship in America.

From the beginning, throughout and to the end of Mass, my ears, eyes, heart and soul began to understand why “The Latin Mass” is loved by the people of “St. Mary”, in Norwalk, Connecticut. As Fr. Ringley said to me, “There is no better Latin Mass, then here at St. Mary”! Why, because the people come here for the freedom to worship as did the people generations ago, who came for the opportunity to worship and serve God.

St. Mary, The Mother Church of Norwalk, is alive and well, celebrating 175 years, all thanks to God and the People who love Her.
