Saint Patrick’s Cathedral

5th Avenue, New York, NY 10022

(82) October 7, 2018. By the Spirit (airbus) took flight to New York City before the sun came up. My sister and me sat in the very last row. Arriving on time we made it to the 10:15 AM Mass at St. Patrick Cathedral. Also known as “America’s Parish Church”.

Security was heightened and the Church was filled to capacity. Celebrating The Right To Life brought people from all over the world to Celebrate this Holy Day. We sat in a section that was impossible to see the alter. But we felt privileged just to be there. Moments before the Procession began, security moved us to the empty first row pew. Thought of a verse in The Bible, “and the last shall be first”.

Rev. Msgr. Robert T. Richie delivered a beautiful Homily. On creation and caring. Man was given animals to care for and Woman for companionship. That life should be respected for all creatures.

My thanks to God who created me, my parents who nurtured me, and all the animals in my life, my heart is filled with Joy!
