(40) December 17,2017. Via God and Google, my path to St. Cyprian was a beautiful experience. Arriving very early had the pleasure of meeting Fr. Darrio Boscutti. Who told me, Emeritus, Fr. Eugene Gratkowski would be the presider. Who delivered a most powerful homily! Before explaining the Gospel, Father stated “God has a mysteriously unique sense of humor”. That John the Baptist preached and expected The Messiah to deliver and save God’s chosen people. Believing it was going to happen with fury and grandeur. Instead a baby was born who brought to the world love, peace, healing and forgiveness. What was not expected by those who were waiting for a King and God’s wrath.

After mass, also had the pleasure of meeting some wonderful parishioners. One lady asked me after learning about all the churches on my path, “Where is your favorite Church”? My response, “each Catholic Church in real time”! Treasuring every parish, and looking forward to where my next path leads me to that brings me closer to God. This 3rd Sunday of Advent filled my heart with unexplainable joy!

PS… saw the best Nativity set loaned by their former Pastor!!!
