St. Domatilla Catholic Church

(37) November 26,2017. Today at St. Domitilla, the presider was Fr.Edgar Rodriguez (Pastor from St.Barbara).In his homily, he share a personal story about his uncle and ailing grandfather. One night it was his uncle’s turn to watch over his father, who suffered from dementia. The uncle was awoken by hearing his father trying to leave the house. Agitated, he asked his father why was he up so late and where did he think he needed to go? As the father turned around, the uncle saw Jesus in his father’s face. The story was shared to the rest of the family. And compassionately the uncle understood by caring for others, we are caring for Christ.
