St. Mary’s Catholic Church

(67) June 25, 2018. Picked a perfect day to travel to St. Mary in Beaverville, IL. Joining me through cornfield landscapes and some gravel roads were my friends, Valerie and Fr. Tom. This path lead us to a parish also known as “The Cathredal in the cornfields”. Their only Mass on Sunday is in the afternoon at 4:30.

The parishioners of this Holy landmark welcomed us as extended family members. It was during the sign of peace, we felt the love from this faith community.

Fr. Daniel delivered a lively message in his homily. The last part of his message was a slogan from GE, “We bring good things to light”. Better yet, God’s Light is what brings good things to us.
