(129) September 1, 2019. Being at Mass today was a reminder to stay humble and grateful for little favors.
Fr. Derrick referred to an old Jewish story to explain today’s Gospel. There was a man who saw a festive banquet going on. In tattered clothes he knocked on the door to be welcomed in. The host refused his entry. Again, the man knocked on the door and this time the same man was wearing gleaming clothes. Joyfully, the host invited him in. While banqueting the guest poured wine on his clothes and pocketed the food. The host was angry and asked the guest why he was doing that? The guest answered, “you invited my cloths and not me to dine with you”.

And so the message reminds me to look at all people equally and treat them the same.
“Techny Towers” is an oratory with so many beautiful treasures. The greatest being those worshipping here today.
