(52) March 12, 2018. Had the honor of meeting Gerald and Fr.Robert Carroll, O. Carm., PH. D. (Parochial Vicar) while worshipping at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel.
Gerald was the cantor and played the piano. Hearing his gift was incredible, and Gerald is only 10 years old!
Humorously when Fr. Robert began his sermon, my grandson fell asleep. Father spoke about having courage in Christ and those who benefit in believing in God. All people experience good and evil. Having unquestionably faith humbles us to give thanks, helps us to heal, be forgiving and promises life eternal. And a relationship that one can count on to get through the hard times in life. An intimate relationship that fills the void the soul yearns for that can only be satisfied with God.
After Mass spent some time with Gerald and Fr. Robert. A young gifted soul who’s passion for music will be lifelong. And a super smart Vicar who’s interesting life could never put me to sleep.
